 Discover Black   Montreal

The stories we share with you here are those of the many contributors to Montreal's black organizations. These stories, which sometimes come from interviews, funeral service bulletins, Mother's Day Tea pamphlets and biographies of public figures, remind us of the importance of preserving traces in various forms. In some instances, it is through funeral bulletins that we are reminded of the colossal involvement of certain members.

Although we are aware that there are many more narratives that need to be heard, we wanted to gather these stories to help understand the connection and community building through the years in Montreal. If you have a story to share, please contact us. You can find more information in the contact section.
